True Religion Apparel, Inc. has named Lynne Koplin as president, effective immediately. She succeeds Michael Egeck, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities, according to the company. Koplin joined the company in Jan. 2010 as chief operating officer. She was previously president of the women’s division of Tommy Bahama, a unit of Oxford Industries.
In her new role, Koplin reports to Jeffrey Lubell, chairman, ceo and chief merchant of True Religion.
“Lynne has made significant contributions to the improvements in our business over the past 18 months,” said Lubell. “We are pleased to announce her appointment as president, a role in which she will have an even greater influence on the direction and success of our business.”

Egeck joined True Religion as president in June 2010. He was previously president of VF Corp.’s contemporary brands coalition, which includes Seven For All Mankind.
