LONDON — Mount Street Neighbourhood is bringing back its arts festival for the second year. It will be held across Mayfair from Oct. 13 to 18, coinciding with the Frieze and PAD art fairs in London.
“MSN Arts Festival is all about new ways to engage and excite people to discover the unique curation of our neighborhood. We’re excited to announce this year’s program and incredible roster of creatives joining us,” said Joanna Lea, Mayfair retail portfolio director at Grosvenor.
This year’s lineup includes a Fitzcarraldo Editions pop-up; a book club hosted by BAFTA and Olivier nominee Omari Douglas; an installation at 130 Mount Street by Scandinavian textile company Nordic Knots; and an exhibition of pieces from artist and designer Walid al Damirji, founder of By Walid.

Douglas, who has appeared in “It’s A Sin,” “Black Doves,” and West End’s adaption of “A Little Life,” will explore James Baldwin’s “Another Country” with the book club.
“It is so exciting to have this opportunity to shine a light on this extraordinary novel, ‘Another Country,’” said Douglas. “Like many, I am fascinated by the frankness on display in this novel; its themes and characters are resonant and shocking.”
He added: “I can’t wait to bring people together in an intimate setting to hear and experience some of that world, created so vividly by James Baldwin, and for us to strike up conversation around this epic work that so many of us love.”
As part of the week-long event there will also be an arts and book-themed pub quiz at the Audley Public House hosted by Charlene Prempeh and Lewis Gilbert, founders of creative studio and consultancy A Vibe Called Tech.
The duo will also hold daily conversations with the participating artists and brands that will be streamed on Mount Street Neighborhood’s social media.
From Monday, Oct. 13, the Scandinavian design brand Nordic Knots will unveil a six-month residency at 130 Mount Street, reimagining the look of a London pied-à-terre with textiles, new bedding and home décor collections, bespoke furniture and curated artworks.
