LONDON — Just in time for the holidays, private members club Annabel’s has unveiled its festive winter facade — a magical bird encapsulated in a snow globe.
Designed by Tatianan Kharchylava, the Birley Clubs’ creative director, the club’s new front was created in partnership with The Caring Family Foundation’s “Food From the Heart” campaign.
The whimsical design was inspired by childhood wonder and nostalgia in honor of the charity’s mission to combat child hunger and food insecurity in the U.K. and Brazil.
The Caring Family Foundation’s 2024 campaign was formed in collaboration with The Felix Project, London’s largest food redistribution charity, and will distribute a total of 1 million meals to children and families in need by the end of 2025.

According to the Child Poverty Action Group, a U.K. charity group dedicated to preventing child poverty, child hunger and food insecurity worsens during school breaks, with 900,000 school-age children in England living in poverty missing out on free school meals.
“It is a scandal that so many children across London and indeed the entire country face hunger on a daily basis,” said Charlotte Hill OBE, The Felix Project’s chief executive officer. “We know one in eight working London families are using a food bank once a week to help them put food on their table; that could mean around 169,000 families in need of regular food support.”
“At The Caring Family Foundation, together with The Felix Project, we believe that every child deserves access to hot, nutritious meals daily. This isn’t just about food — it is a commitment to tackle child poverty and food insecurity and bring hope to those who need it most,” said Richard Caring, The Caring Family Foundation’s cofounder and co-chairman of The Birley Clubs.
The campaign includes a festive gathering at Surrey Square Primary School on Dec. 5, where volunteers will treat the students to entertainment, activities, and lunch. The foundation will also hold a holiday-themed event at The Dorchester on Nov. 24, with all ticket proceeds going to the foundation.
