Ah, to be the runaway stars of summer’s most talked-about TV show, and the latest fascination of Nicolas Ghesquière — all before high school.
The kids in the cast of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” (Millie Bobby Brown, 12; Caleb McLaughlin, 12, and Gaten Matarazzo, 13) are the breakout darlings sensationalizing pop culture, be it rapping Nicki Minaj on late night talk shows or giving a rendition of “Uptown Funk” to the audience at the Emmys before the show. And they’ve got a little bit of fashion in them, too.
Brown was front-row at Coach during New York Fashion Week, much to the delight of fellow actors and fashionistas obsessed with the show, eager for a selfie. The preteen’s wardrobe also appears to be benefiting from the Netflix series’ success: she shared an Instagram of her “first pair of Jimmy Choos!” which were deemed “#awesome.”
The fashion love for the cast shouldn’t come as a surprise, given they star alongside cult favorite Winona Ryder, a longtime muse to fashion, having recently appeared in ads for Rag & Bone and Marc Jacobs beauty.

After turning out at the Emmys this past weekend in their red-carpet finest (Brown wore a gauzy Red Valentino gown), the trio appears to have headed to Paris for a meeting with none other than Louis Vuitton‘s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, a moment captured on Instagram by the designer. It seems the young thespians are fans of their new high fashion friend: Matarazzo reposted the image, as it was “Too good not to share!”
All this begs the question: are they fashion’s next big thing? And what’s to come of the Louis Vuitton visit? We’ll be closely watching the front row at the brand’s show on Oct. 5.
