On Tuesday, the coolest trending accessory in New York was an “I Voted” sticker. The presidential primary brought New Yorkers out to cast their vote — provided they hadn’t missed the deadline to register for the Democratic or Republican party, as was the case for two of Republican front-runner Donald Trump‘s children. The support for democratic nominee Hillary Clinton continued to run strong among the designer set, with Marc Jacobs posting a photo of himself in the T-shirt he designed in support of her campaign. Meanwhile, actress Susan Sarandon (whose film “The Meddler” has its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival tonight) was firmly in Bernie Sanders’ camp. Others took a more neutral approach by simply urging their followers to get out and vote.
The polls close at 9 p.m., which leaves plenty of time for more selfies to hit social media.
