No Miu Miu collaboration would be complete without a party to match.
On Wednesday night, the Prada Group-owned label closed the doors of its Midtown Manhattan boutique to celebrate U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff’s curated edit of Miu Miu’s fall 2025 collection.
Her selection blended everyday classics — think tailored jackets and ribbed tanks — with a sportier lineup pulled from the New Balance x Miu Miu capsule that dropped earlier this year.

Among the highlights were a brown-and-black blotched leather jacket (“my favorite,” Gauff noted), pleated tennis skirts, jersey dresses and joggers. On the footwear front, the tennis champion called out the 530 SL metallic leather-and-mesh sneakers, retailing for $1,220, as her top pick.
“My goal was to make it look like my own closet. I like to mix masculine and feminine vibes…some tomboy outfits, some dresses and some skirts,” Gauff said. “With the tennis pieces, I wanted them to feel versatile. I know not everyone shopping is a tennis player, so I tried to choose styles that work both on and off the court.”
Unlike some A-listers who take a hands-off approach to brand partnerships, Gauff said she’s involved in every step, from ideation to execution.
“I never want to put anything out there that isn’t an extension of myself,” she said. “When I curated the tennis pieces, I made sure they not only matched the Miu Miu aesthetic, but also felt true to me. It’s important…for different demographics to feel represented because sometimes in high fashion that’s missing, [and] I wanted my selection to reflect that.”
The process, she added, was a balance of instinct and reflection. “I took my time deciding what I wanted to include, but in the end I trusted my first choices. I thought maybe I’d change it up later, but I stuck with my gut,” she said. “This is my first edit, and hopefully people will like it.”
While Gauff held court on the second floor — posing for photos and chatting with attendees — the action upstairs offered a different scene.
On the third floor — set against moody, low lighting — guests sipped cocktails in lounge areas as a DJ spun remixes of current hits. Influencers like Katie Lever posed for photos with their entourages, while across the room others queued up for a turn at the oversized gumball machine filled with tennis balls.
