Makeup artist Napoleon Perdis has broadened his horizons outside of cosmetics to the bath aisle.
Beginning Sunday, Perdis is launching a new bath line exclusively for Target, NP Set Bath & Body, which will launch in about 1,400 of the retailer’s stores across the country. Perdis’ entry into specialty bath follows his successful launch into Target’s beauty aisle in August 2008 with NP Set, a masstige makeup line he created. At the time, two other makeup artist lines, JK Kemma Kidd and Pixi by Petra Strand, joined him in marking a big turn for the retailer as it expanded its Design for All concept into beauty and added product testers for the first time.
“I am the only one of the three to launch in a separate aisle. That’s a pretty big deal with a retailer like Target. I am very humbled,” he said.
