Loro Piana has opened a new boutique in Montecito, Calif.
Located at Rosewood Miramar Beach, the five-star oceanfront hotel, this marks the Italian brand’s fifth retail location in California. Loro Piana first opened shop in Costa Mesa, at South Coast Plaza, in 2000, before expanding to Beverly Hills and San Francisco. Last year, the brand unveiled a store in Palo Alto at Stanford Shopping Center. Now, the focus is back on Southern California.
Surrounded by gardens, it’s a 1,819-square-foot space housed in a colonial-style bungalow inspired by the property’s Manor House architecture, according to the brand. The interior is minimalist in design, showcasing natural materials and a warm color palette in keeping with Loro Piana’s familiar aesthetic. Featuring raffia, silk carpets and wall coverings by Loro Piana Interiors, there are tones of kummel red, the brand’s signature color, beige and burgundy with oak and Carabottino wood details.
