London-based e-commerce warehouse and fulfillment software firm Fulfil.com said it is eyeing expansion in the U.S. following a “significant” but undisclosed round of venture capital funding last year.
As part of the push into the market, the company launched new products that include a “flexible Android mobile application and software integrations with NetSuite and Shopify.”
Jonathan Bellwood, founder and chief executive officer said the company is “focused entirely on fulfillment solutions for e-commerce retailers and North America is a major market opportunity for us.”
“To be competitive and grow profitably the e-commerce retailer must offer ‘Amazon-quality’ logistics to be able to scale their operations while fulfilling every order, large and small, on time, every time,” the ceo said. “Our business has thrived on being the first to fully address the complex logistical challenges this represents, offering clients a flexible, highly functional and rapidly deployable warehouse fulfillment system.”
The company said it has more than 100 e-commerce and omnichannel retailers who use its software. Most recently in the U.S. McFeely’s, a hardware specialty retailer, signed on as a client. Globally, other users include Barbour, Intersport, Mothercare and The Range, among others. On Black Friday last year, Fulfil.com’s warehouse-management system software managed more than 1 million shipments for its clients, and the company expects more this year.

The company positions the software as a way to help retailers “scale their e-commerce businesses profitably without compromising customer experience.” Improving inventory management and handling returns more smoothly are also advantages of the software. “The system’s holistic, real-time views of inventory levels help avoid overselling while simplifying order tracking and traceability,” the company added.
