• KBL ACQUISITION: KBL Group International Ltd. said Monday it had completed its acquisition of AR Knitwear Ltd. Terms of the deal between the two privately held firms were not disclosed. KBL manufactures sweaters and knitwear for women, men and children to retailers in the U.S. and Canada. AR Knitwear ships under the name Sweater Project. David Rosenbluth and Florence Packman will continue in their roles in the day-to-day operations of AR Knitwear. “With the acquisition of Anxiety last year and our own junior brand Smudge, we now have great scale in the junior arena in both sweaters and knits,” said Steven Begleiter, president of KBL.
