Project Global Tradeshow’s special events revolve around the topics of education and social media. The centerpiece of the agenda is a morning speaker series to inform retailers, brands, media outlets and other interested guests about the latest apparel and retail industry advancements. Including that series, here are some highlights of Project’s schedule.
• Maurizio Donadi, senior vice president of Levi’s XX division, will offer insight on the changing dynamics of the denim market on the morning of Aug. 17.
• HauteLook and TweetHouse will present a panel discussion delving into how fashion brands can engage customers via social media on the evening of Aug. 17.
• Michael Williams, founder of the men’s style blog A Continuous Lean, will moderate a panel of emerging brands for Project 10, the trade show’s new brand showcase, on the morning of Aug. 18.

• Throughout Project’s three-day run, HauteLook will sponsor a 400-square-foot social media lounge on the trade show fl oor housing experts from TweetHouse and Wildfi re to train brands on social media tools and provide a location for bloggers to work.
• Also throughout the trade show, Project will be testing an iPad and iPhone application developed by the trade show in partnership with the firm ShowForce. “It is for the ease of getting around, scheduling appointments and finding people,” said Project president Andrew Pollard.
