NEW HORIZONS: Corporate communications executive Bruno-Roland Bernard is forging a new path with plans to set up his own Paris-based consultancy in February, WWD has learned.
Bernard said his aim is to be an independent adviser for strategic and financial communications and investments in luxury goods and new business models.
He was most recently corporate and financial communications director at Yoox Net-a-porter Group, reporting to Federico Marchetti, chairman and chief executive officer of YNAP. Bernard, who left YNAP last month, also had a seat on the e-commerce company’s executive committee.
Before joining YNAP in 2016, Bernard spent 10 years at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton as its group communications director, and his résumé also includes stints at BNP Paribas and Vivendi.
