Beiersdorf has promoted Iain Holding, currently president of Beiersdorf North America, to the post of corporate vice president of global sales strategy based at Beiersdorf AG’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.
The firm has also promoted Magnus Jonsson, currently director of marketing for Nivea for Men and consumer insights, to the position of vice president of marketing at Beiersdorf Inc. The changes will become effective next month.
Holding, a more than 20-year veteran of Beiersdorf, took the helm of Beiersdorf’s North American operations in 2006. The company credited him with driving double-digit growth in the last four years via a redesign of its North American business strategy and the development of the Nivea, Eucerin and Aquaphor brands.
Holding will be succeeded by Robert Taylor-Hughes, who is currently managing director of Beiersdorf, Middle East, North Africa and West Asia.
