PARIS — U.K.-based retailer Booker said Wednesday it would acquire all 30 stores and all operational assets of Makro, the U.K. business of German retail giant Metro Group.
The deal is valued at 139.7 million pounds, or $218.8 million at current exchange rate.
The transaction, which is expected to be completed by the end of July, is subject to approval by Booker shareholders.
