Tiffany & Co. is getting into the festive spirit with a city takeover of Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the luxury jeweler has created an immersive “Constellation of Love” experience, which brings its “With Love, Since 1837” holiday campaign to life.
Exploring Tiffany & Co.’s heritage through a series of activations dotted around the city, the light-filled experience was designed to capture the vibrancy of both Abu Dhabi and Tiffany & Co.’s native New York City.
“With ‘Constellation of Love,’ Tiffany & Co. puts a spotlight on the House’s heritage of craftsmanship and timeless elegance against the backdrop of our dynamic city,” said Noura Al Foulathi, Abu Dhabi Retail, ADIO. “As a hub for global brands, Abu Dhabi excels at offering exceptional luxury retail experiences, and this partnership with Tiffany & Co. offers customers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to immerse themselves in an iconic brand in an entirely new and unexpected way.”
Visitors are invited to explore Tiffany & Co.’s collections and discover the craftsmanship involved in their creation through installations in key locations around the city. Illuminated in Tiffany Blue, neighborhoods form a “Constellation of Love,” which celebrates love in all its guises.
In Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, a Tiffany & Co. tree within a Tiffany Blue Box is topped with Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock, while a pop-up installation at Bassam Freiha Art Foundation in the Saadiyat Cultural District further explores pieces created by the famed Tiffany & Co. designer. In a nod to the House’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, Jubail Mangrove Park plays host to illuminated Tiffany & Co. birds nestled within trails running through the tranquil haven for nature.
Visitors are also welcome to enjoy seasonal storytelling sessions, which explore Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural heritage. Meanwhile, in Umm Al Emarat Park, the Shade House is bathed in Tiffany Blue light projections celebrating love’s unbreakable bonds, and elsewhere in the city, Marina Mall is illuminated in Tiffany Blue where Tiffany & Co. store windows display a curated collection of iconic pieces.
The ongoing event takes inspiration from the 2024 Tiffany & Co. holiday campaign, which stars House ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy. Directed by Jonas Lindstroem, the film is set in a snow-dusted New York City, “the city where love never sleeps.” Taylor-Joy, clad in a timeless black evening dress, visits iconic New York locations, including Brooklyn Bridge and Tiffany & Co.’s storied Fifth Avenue store. Wearing Tiffany & Co. pieces highlighting facets of love, from self-love to timeless bonds, the film serves as a reminder that love is a gift. In a series of vignettes, photographed by Carljin Jacobs, Taylor-Joy wears T by Tiffany, Knot by Tiffany and HardWear by Tiffany pieces.
Tiffany & Co.’s “Constellation of Love” officially opened on Dec. 4 with a tree lighting ceremony with Nancy Ajram at Abu Dhabi Global Market Square and an event held at the Skyview at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi with friends of the House, VIP guests, government officials and Tiffany & Co. executives in attendance. Guests at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi are welcome to continue the celebration by indulging in a bespoke Tiffany & Co. themed afternoon tea. An illuminated display within the hotel also showcases pieces from House collections, including Lock by Tiffany, HardWear by Tiffany, T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany.
The “Constellation of Love” journey will remain open to the public until Jan. 10, 2025.
