When natural-colored-diamond specialist Natacha Langerman teamed up with Marc Alary a year ago, she gave the art director-turned-designer “total freedom.”
The result: a six-piece collection inspired by Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” painting that is both modern and Baroque. The line’s key piece is a $60,000 flower ring fashioned from chocolate-colored diamonds, 18-karat rose and yellow gold petals, and a pavé petal created from a mix of yellow, olive, champagne, cognac and white diamonds — but there are also simple solitaire rings made of yellow and rose gold with diamonds in varying colors that start at $7,000. The collection will be available at langermandiamonds.com in early November.
