Kendra Scott is continuing to extend its product categories with a new licensing agreement.
The Austin-based accessories label has signed an eyewear license with Marchon Eyewear Inc. for sunglasses and optical styles. This marks the first expansion into eyewear for the 23-year-old accessories label.
“As we continue to expand into the lifestyle category, we’re excited to partner with Marchon Eyewear to launch the Kendra Scott eyewear collection,” said Tom Nolan, chief executive officer of Kendra Scott. “With their expertise in quality and an established distribution network, Marchon is the perfect partner as we venture into this new space.”
Kendra Scott’s eyewear range is said to “incorporate the brand’s iconic, signature design elements, dynamic colors and unique use of shapes and materials.” The first collection will be available for purchase in the U.S. in September.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kendra Scott into our world-class portfolio of brands, a truly remarkable brand known for iconic jewelry designs, but also their philosophy and commitment to giving back,” said Thomas Burkhardt, president of Marchon Eyewear Inc. “We are very proud to announce this partnership, and confident the brand’s expansion into eyewear will be a great success for many years to come.”
Kendra Scott’s licensing agreement with Marchon comes at a time of expansion for the accessories brand. Last November, Scott embarked on retail expansion for her Western-inspired sub-label, Yellow Rose, which opened its first store in Austin and has locations in the works in Dallas, Houston and Nashville.
The Kendra Scott main label also expanded last year with the introduction of a lab-grown diamond collection.
This is Marchon’s latest eyewear licensing agreement with a fashion or accessories brand. Last year, the conglomerate signed a similar deal with luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose. Marchon also works with labels such as Calvin Klein, Victoria Beckham, DKNY, Longchamp and many others.
