Wrangler Joins Forces With Cherry for Nostalgic Drop

A new collaboration reflects consumers’ love for storytelling.

Kontoor Brands-owned Wrangler recently joined forces with Los Angeles-based Americana streetwear brand Cherry to launch a limited-edition apparel and accessories collection that “stands at the intersection of nostalgia and contemporary style.” Designs transport consumers back to the golden era of American motorsport through authentic washed denim, premium varsity suedes and bold racing graphics.

Both brands are avid collaborators. In 2025, Wrangler rolled out collections with Lainey Wilson, Whataburger, Filson and Coors. Cherry, known for vintage-inspired aesthetic and L.A.-made products, has linked up recently with Salt + Stone and the dune buggy brand Meyers Manx. Josh LeVine, Frame co-founder, is also one of the founders of the brand.

“This collaboration is a true masterclass in forging a new future informed by the past,” Vivian Rivetti, VP of design at Wrangler. “For decades, Wrangler has been synonymous with durability and authentic American style, and with Cherry, we found a shared passion for vintage Americana.”

In staying true to the two brands’ American roots, the entire collection, except for one piece, was made in the United States.

On Instagram, Cherry describes the racing-inspired designs as “when heritage found its horsepower” and “denim with drive.” Key pieces include the men’s Cowboy Cut Jean and Wide-Leg Five Pocket Jean—both with a red Cherry tag on the back pocket, brown Wrangler patch and W stitching detail.

A blue and white jacket is inspired by what a pit crew would wear. A brown suede jacket includes chenille embroidered details from both brands on the front and back of the jacket, along with a custom Cherry patch on the sleeve. The Cotton Frise Knit Zip-Up Jacket is a deep brown sweater-like jacket with patches of both brands’ iconic logos on the front, and the subtle outline of a horse embroidered on the back.

A blue football jersey, thermal shirt, hoodie and men’s and women’s T-shirts round out the line.

“The collection is not just a retro throwback; it is about reinterpreting iconic elements—from the custom washed denim to the varsity suedes and racing graphics—to create pieces built with movement and memories in mind, ensuring they look as good on the open road today as they would have back then,” Rivetti added.

The Wrangler x Cherry collection retails for $79.99-$1,649.99 and is available on Wrangler and Cherry’s websites and in select Cherry stores.
