New York based denim brand Warp + Weft introduces new fabrications for fall.
The size inclusive men’s and women’s brand recently launched its Fall 2024 collection featuring three new “ultra-flexible fabrications” engineered to adapt to the wearer’s body shape: stretch corduroy, knit denim and Jet Set.
The fabrics support Warp + Weft’s mission to design clothes that move through all life’s stages and that last a lifetime. “At Warp + Weft, we believe that denim should do more than just fit—it should move with you. Our sustainable denim is designed for those who demand both style and adaptability in their everyday wear,” the brand stated.
Made with 98 percent and 2 percent Lycra, Warp + Weft’s stretch corduroy provides the look and feel of traditional corduroy with extra comfort and flexibility. The corduroy is available in the women’s NAO high-rise bootcut jean, offered in black, brown and rust and men’s AMS slim jeans in brown.
The brand’s cotton and elastane knit denim has the relaxed feel of loungewear with the look of traditional denim, making it easy to dress up or down. The cozy fabric is available for men with the AMS Slim jean and ORD straight jean.
Jet Set fabrics give women’s body-con silhouettes a sleek, lifting and smoothing effect. Composed of 62 percent Tencel, 23 percent cotton, 14 percent polyester, and 1 percent Lycra the Jet Set collection is meant to move with you from day to night. The Jet Set collection includes a sleeveless mini dress and midi dress in black and indigo and a corset-inspired tank as well as flare, straight and wide-leg jeans. Some bottoms are pull-on styles.
Tried-and-true fabrics like Dynamic Stretch and Performance Twill for men and women’s ultra-soft Flatter Me and 100 percent cotton denim remain a part of Warp + Weft’s fall collection.
The fall collection dials in on the denim dressing trend with a ’70s-inspired tunic dress, a midi pleated skirt and a Y2K miniskirt with a handkerchief hem. New fits include the women’s CJU mid-rise wide-leg jean and BZE vintage straight, a modern take on a ’90s jean, and the men’s GRR relaxed jean.
