New York City-based Still Here celebrates iconic symbols of American culture—denim and classic cars—in its first wall calendar.
The analog timekeeper and denim have more in common than meets the eye. Eliza Rolfs, Still Here’s head of brand, described the natural relationship between time and denim. “Denim holds memories, it ages with you, and it tells a story year after year,” she said. “The calendar felt like an authentic extension of that idea.”
A cast of dynamic women dressed in the brand’s denim brings the calendar to life. Although the calendar was shot in both Los Angeles and New York, Rolfs said the cast “carries a distinctly New York spirit.” It features Lara Worthington, Charlie and Sharon Hourston, Pia Baroncini, Maddy Denley, Ana Corrigan, Tavia Bonetti, Kelia Moniz Termini, Elora Joshi, Emily Sundberg, Liana Satenstein, Kai Avent-deLeon, and Rebecca Zhou.
The women are photographed in Still Here’s Tate, Childhood, Everyday, Supply, Cool and Sport jeans.
“There is nothing more powerful than strong, interesting women in jeans,” Rolfs said, adding that each woman “represent the values of the brand through their depth and individuality.”
“These are women growing their own careers, writing their own stories, and showing up with authenticity, creativity, and quiet strength,” she said.
The addition of classic cars reinforces the calendar’s vintage character.
“It’s definitely nostalgic,” Rolfs said. “The idea came about over the past few years. Sonia and Maurice grew up in the ’90s and early 2000s, a time when buying a themed calendar every year was a ritual. One year it might be the Spice Girls, the next year Pokémon or dogs. They also collected Colors magazines, Abercrombie catalogs, and band posters, all of which felt personal, tactile and timeless.”
The brand’s goal is to see its calendar become a “modern heirloom” that brings these memories and qualities together.
“Still Here has always been built around tangible experiences—stores you can spend time in, jeans you can live your life in, and social media that people genuinely want more of,” Rolfs added. “Now we are creating something that lives on your coffee table or fridge, something collectible. Printed creative has become a core part of our identity because of the response we receive whenever we create something people can hold instead of scroll through.”
The 12-month spiral-bound calendar was produced in limited qualities. It is available now on Still Here’s website and retails for $45.
