Lee Launches Men’s Footwear In Partnership with Jack Schwartz Shoes

Kontoor Brands-owned Lee launched men’s footwear this week, one year after announcing a licensing agreement with Jack Schwartz Shoes (JSS), one of the largest family-owned footwear companies in the United States.

Contemporary takes of athletic and casual styles form the genesis of the collection. Sneaker styles include the Spector Too, a sleek sneaker for work and weekend; the Streeter, a low-profile sneaker inspired by classic tennis shoe; and the Damien, a multi-color low-top sneaker. Other styles include the Rowan, a Chelsea-inspired slip-on boot in two shades of black and the Waylon, a high-top lace-up leather boot with a rugged outsole.

Retail prices range from $45 to $90. Shoes come in sizes 7-14.

Footwear has been in demand. Lee reports that search analytics show shoes and related terms were one of the top accessory search term categories on Lee.com before the line launched. The brand added that organic interest has resulted in early positive sales on Lee.com.

The collection is also available online through Amazon and Walmart.com and at retailers Shoe Dept. and WSS.

“Consumers are used to shopping within familiar brands and price points, and that’s where Lee Footwear delivers,” said David Schwartz, president of Jack Schwartz Shoes. “The focus is on great fit, premium materials, and trend-right design—all while staying true to Lee’s authentic brand DNA. The result is accessible style and quality at a value that today’s consumer demands.”

The footwear collection arrives in the market just as Lee rolls out “Built Like Lee,” its first equity campaign in years. The campaign highlights the brand’s craftsmanship and real connections with consumers.

“Lee’s new global platform, ‘Built Like Lee,’ introduces the brand’s quality and timeless style to a new generation, showcasing the iconic American cool that Lee has always represented,” said Steve Armus, VP of global licensing and partnerships, Kontoor Brands. “These lifestyle categories offer additional pieces that enhance Lee apparel. And what goes better with Lee denim than footwear.”

Women’s footwear will launch in 2026. Last year, Lee introduced handbags with Western handbag and accessory manufacturer Montana West. More recently, the heritage brand has launched successful collaborations with Crayola and Buck Mason—a strategy that is proving to connect with millennial-aged consumers.
