Kendrick Lamar, Jennie and Sara Blakely Shape Trendalytics’ Top Fashion Trends of 2025

Trendalytics named the Top Trends of 2025, revealing a year of celebrity-driven trends, nostalgic styling and comfort-focused fashion.

The search terms were ranked by highest average weekly search growth using an average trend cycle timeframe of six months.

True to its slow-moving nature when it comes to fashion trends, the men’s category was refreshed with elevated updates in 2025. “Luxury leisure emerged in the market, striking silver accessories became staples, nostalgic nods elevated everyday wear, and sweaters laid a foundation for updates,” the trend intelligence platform stated.

Ranked the No. 4 trend of the 2025, Trendalytics said searches for “Celine Flared Jeans” increased 15,230 percent compared to last year. Additionally, Lyst named the 22-time Grammy Award winner’s $1,200 low-rise Celine Marco jean the No. 1 hottest product of Q1 2025.

The fisherman aesthetic—a look defined by chunky cable-knit sweaters, waterproof outerwear and Breton stripes—shaped the men’s category. Searches for “fisherman core” increased 31,487 percent, underscoring the ongoing demand for functional fashion. The influence of preppy fashion appeared in the 1,233 percent spike in searches for “polka dot swim trunk.”

Meanwhile, searches for “luxury athleisure” and “On Cloud 6” also increased, revealing a departure from traditional sport and activewear brands and styling.  

Denim continued to be of a point of interest. Trendalytics named “one leg jeans” the No. 11 trend of the year, up 3,399 compared to 2024, after going viral on TikTok. “Rolled cuff pants” ranked No. 36, “cigarette jeans” ranked No. 58 and “men’s mid wash jeans” ranked No. 93.

Trending search trends in women’s fashion were more specific, especially accessories. Searches for “Chanel 25,” a structured hobo bag featured in campaigns starring Jennie, increased 8,978 percent. Coach’s celebrity-approved Brooklyn Bag saw searches increase 29,907 percent.

Consumers were also curious about Sneex, the hybrid sneaker stiletto by Spanx founder Sara Blakey. Searches for the polarizing shoe increased 5,086 percent. The women’s “sneakerina,” up 35,317 percent compared to last year, saw the highest average weekly searches.
