Forever 21 is upgrading its denim selection for the back-to-school season.
The retailer recently launched Denim 21, an affordable collection of men’s and women’s jeans that tap into the current styles Gen Z is loving on TikTok.
“Denim is all about fit and with our focus on the latest trends we wanted to showcase the range we offer,” said Winnie Park, Forever 21 CEO.
Described as an elevated collection, Denim 21 offers staples like women’s straight, jeggings, boyfriend and high-rise skinny. Trend-driven styles include distressed ’90s, wide-leg, cargo, flare and ex-boyfriend fits—a rigid alternative with a looser leg than its boyfriend counterpart. Curved jeans with contouring shapes are also available in skinny, flare and straight fits.
While skinny jeans ruled pre-pandemic collections, consumers have been adding variety to their denim wardrobes. Cargo pants in nylon and denim are key items in Pacsun’s new fall collection. American Eagle is also offering nostalgic fits in its new ’90s-inspired collection with rising stars Maddie and Kenzie Ziegler.
For men, Denim 21 offers skinny and slim fits as well as comfortable knit constructions.
The youth-oriented retailer is “excited to offer fashion denim styles at an amazing value for customers who are heading back to school and looking to revamp their fits with the latest trends,” it said.
The collection is available now online and in Forever 21 stores. Prices start at $19.999. Sizes range from men’s 29-42 and women’s 23-34 and XS-XL.
