Field of Study by Pacsun Targets the Maturing Customer

There’s more to Pacsun than licensed graphic tees and swim trunks. The Southern California label is elevating its men’s assortment this summer with Field of Study by Pacsun, a new in-house line of premium apparel focused on “purposeful design and contemporary sensibilities.”

Field of Study is a refined extension of the brand’s core focus on daily wear. The line prioritizes better fabrications, garment construction and fashion-forward proportions and silhouettes.

The collection features camp shirts, baggy shirts, crew neck and collared sweaters, a boxy cropped zip jacket and collared long sleeve, trousers, and assortment of basic tees and tanks. Denim highlights include $95 baggy jeans made with Japanese selvedge denim. Neutral tones add to Field of Study’s clean-cut aesthetic.

With price points ranging $25-$150, the retailer said Field of Study is an “elegant style stepping stone for Gen Z, Millennials and targeting mature customers.” While housed under the men’s side of the brand, the line is intended for all consumers.

The youth-focused retailer said it saw a “clear demand” for premium designs amongst is consumers through the success of brand partners like The Met, Fear of God Essentials and Rare DNM Edit.
