Evlox Elevates Denim with Designer and Stylist Claudio Toson

Spanish denim mill Evlox elevates denim in a new concept collection called Savoir-faire.

Intended to showcase sustainable fabrics through a sartorial lens, the mill partnered with Claudio Toson, an Italian denim designer and stylist with more than 35 years of industry experience. He portfolio of works spans Chevignon and Closed to luxury labels like Prada, Miu Miu, Fendi and Gucci.

Savoir-faire includes four trousers constructed with different black and indigo fabrics that contain Regenagri certified regenerative cotton grown in Spain. The fabrics feature Evlox’s Smoothic technology, which adds a delicacy and ultra-soft touch to the fabrics.

“These garments flatter both men and women silhouettes that can be worn for every occasion while offering maximum comfort,” the mill stated.

Toson teamed with the Italian denim laundry Everest to finish the garments with subtle washes, maintaining the color of the original fabric and giving them a sophisticated look most preferred by luxury brands.

Each trouser has a “silk-touch” cardbaoard label by Spanish trims supplier Etiquetas Granero.

Evlox is rolling out a series of capsule collection this year. Each will showcase their fabrics in a way that caters to a specific market or aesthetic.

In January, the mill unveiled a collaboration with London-based atelier Blackhorse Lane that used its low impact Ice dyeing technology. Aligned with atelier’s “London aesthetic,” the jeans were kept raw to showcase their original character.
