Fall allows premium denim brand DL1961 to experiment with textiles, fits and washes.
The brand recently launched its fall collection, introducing new fits for women. The Romie Straight, a classic, mid-rise straight leg inspired by thrifted styles, is made with post-consumer recycled cotton. The fresh Razi Wide Barrel adds to the brand’s lineup of the trending fit, offering a high-rise and relaxed fit. The roomy jean is available in Seagate, a tinted mid-indigo wash with a worn-in look.

The additions complement existing DL1961 styles, including the Taylor Barrel, a softer take on the horseshoe silhouette, and the Drue Straight, a jean that sits low and square on the waist.
A denim trench coat with a deep indigo wash meets the demand for head-to-toe denim dressing this fall. The trench is a chic alternative to Trucker jackets. An array of vintage-inspired indigo washes is complemented by jewel tones like mulberry purple coated jeans and an assortment of corduroy bottoms in terracotta and red rock.
The collection showcases the vertically integrated brand’s unique fabric constructions and technologies, including DL Ultimate, a soft and breathable stretch fabrication, and DL Airbrushed, a denim that contours the body while preserving flexibility and comfort. The brand’s popular Instasculpt, a high-retention stretch denim, is available in seven core fits this season.
DL1961 is also expanding ready-to-wear range for fall. The brand leans into its cosmopolitan New York City roots with sophisticated wardrobe-building leather pieces. The brand’s Vika moto jacket features a slim fit and subtle distressing. A moto-inspired black leather vest coordinates with a black leather maxi skirt and a pleated miniskirt. Bold burgundy leather separates include a side-zip tank and a knee-length skirt with a back slit.
Modern takes on traditional fall styles include brown and ecru houndstooth bootcut trousers and a plaid shacket with a fuzzy texture. DL1961’s knitwear collection, comprised of charcoal, biscuit and ashen colorways, includes a semi-sheer polo, long-sleeve turtleneck and sleeveless turtleneck. Some styles use Repreve Our Ocean recycled polyester.
“The collection’s wool pieces, houndstooth woven styles, and classic plaid designs provide both warmth and timeless sophistication, catering to the various events we find ourselves at during the cooler months from casual dinner dates to art gallery openings,” the brand stated.
