Celebs Carry Dark Denim Trends Into Summer

Celebrities are preparing for summer with jean shorts and denim coordinates, but they’re not giving up their dark jeans.

All black was the go-to uniform for “Materialists” star Dakota Johnson while in New York City. Broadway performer Brandon LaVar attended the Tony Awards in a washed black Levi’s jacket and shorts adorned with white crystals.

Dark wash jeans were preferred by “Abbott Elementary” actor Chris Perfetti. Teyana Taylor also chose dark denim—Schiaparelli’s gold-embellished jeans and jacket—for a press event in NYC. The multi-hyphenate entertainer styled the look with Timberland boots and a New York Yankees baseball cap.
