Voluntary nonprofit sustainability program and traceability platform U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol (USCTP) has appointed Marjory Walker and Liz Hershfield as co-directors, both joining its executive leadership team.

Walker will lead the program’s standards, assurance, and operational framework—overseeing verification integrity and advancing updates that may incorporate regenerative practices—while Hershfield will oversee global market development and supply chain execution, including traceability systems, training, and member compliance across mills to retailers.

Hershfield also serves as vice president of council operations and director of communications at the National Cotton Council. Hershfield is executive director of Cotton Council International and a longtime brand-side sustainability leader, with past roles at J.Crew, Madewell, Bonobos and Old Navy.

Swiss athletic brand On, née Running, has appointed Frank Sluis as chief financial officer. Effective May 1, Frank will succeed Martin Hoffmann, who took on an expanded role as sole CEO last year, while continuing his CFO responsibilities. Hoffmann will continue overseeing the finance organization until Sluis onboards to ensure an easy handover.

Sluis most recently served as CFO for Europe and Indonesia at global food retailer Ahold Delhaize. In this role since 2011, Sluis has managed the financial operations for more than $35 billion in annual net sales and led a large-scale international finance and procurement department spanning more than 800 professionals.

Arc’teryx

Avery Baker

Canadian technical apparel and equipment brand Arc’teryx has appointed Avery Baker as its first chief brand officer. Reporting to CEO Stuart Haselden, Baker will lead global brand strategy alongside marketing and communications. She’ll also develop a consumer experience team, working at an enterprise level with global and regional players across the vertical outdoor industry. She previously served as Tommy Hilfiger’s global president and chief brand officer, overseeing the relaunch of the women’s business and the “See Now Buy Now” shoppable runway content platform.

Additionally, Arc’teryx appointed Tobia Prevedello as general manager of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He brings over two decades of international leadership experience across EMEA and APAC. Prevedello most recently served as managing director for EMEA at Celine, overseeing the LVMH-owned label’s regional business strategy, operations and performance.

Hilco Global

Multinational financial services holding company and ORIX Corporation USA subsidiary, Hilco Global, has named Henry Jackson as an executive director of originations and transactions. He’ll serve as a senior member of the Hilco Global growth team, too, based out of the firm’s New York City office. In this role, Jackson will focus on growing the Hilco Global Capital Solutions and Hilco Global Professional Services divisions, with a particular interest in client relationship development across the private investment space, in both debt and equity.

Jackson joins following a longstanding professional relationship with the firm and its founding chairman and CEO, Jeffrey Hecktman. He brings experience across private equity and investment banking, having previously held senior leadership roles at companies including Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, Home Depot, JCPenney and Prada.

Color management and technology solutions provider X-Rite Pantone has promoted Cindy Cooperman to vice president and general manager of Pantone, where she will lead Pantone as a distinct business within X-Rite Pantone. She brings 25-plus years of experience working with brands and manufacturers on color accuracy and workflow. The company said Cooperman’s remit includes tightening the handoff between Pantone’s physical color standards and digital color and visualization tools used from design through production.
