Right when you thought Crocs couldn’t get any buzzier during summer 2025, the footwear powerhouse just dropped a brand-new shoe with a look no one could see coming. The best part? It was unveiled in a campaign alongside everyone’s favorite Gen-Z actress Lola Tung, who plays Belly on the hit show “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”
The brand’s new shoe release, the Crocs Classic Crafted Clog, offers a surprising reinterpretation of the Crocs look you know and love. Elements still present? A Croslite outsole granting traction and durability to help you crush your step count goals as you explore foreign cities or take long walks by the beach — as well as lightweight flexibility and a heel strap for added stability. The shoe, however, distinguishes itself from anything that came before based on its washed, 100-percent textile canvas upper. That’s right: The front of this clog is smooth, uniform, and soft to the touch, lacking the Jibbitz-ready perforations that are a Crocs signature. This makes it the ultimate buy if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that doles out all-day comfort and looks elevated enough to match with all your summery linen dresses, trendy midi skirts, and beyond.
The Crocs Classic Crafted Clog officially drops today, but Tung has been busy promoting this release for some time now, at on-site brand activations and on social media… while also probably giving fans hints on which one of the Fisher brothers Belly will end up with at the end of season 3. In her latest post, Tung is flaunting the new Crocs shoe in the versatile green shade of Aloe, with an oversized graphic tee and grunge-adjacent, dark-wash cargo pants. The shoe manages to feed her overall look’s edginess, while infusing a valuable touch of color like her shirt of choice.
Think you won’t be able show off your personal style via shoe charms here? Think again. The clog’s strap is the ideal place for some fun baubles in the form of the Crafted Daisy 5 Pack (a reference to Belly’s favorite flower on the show!), Crafted Small Marble Stone, Crafted Beaded Chain, and Crafted Crochet Orange Star — all color-happy arrivals that were made specifically with the Crocs Classic Crafted Clog in mind, whose joie de vivre is captured perfectly when donned by Tung.
In a sneak-peek Instagram video from July 10, Tung also paired a classic pair of Crocs clogs in dark blue with the shiny new charms: like the aforementioned daisy ones, yes, but also the not-to-miss Crafted Crocs Ring Keychain that will bestow a Labubu-like level of personalization to any Crocs purchase.
This is the just the latest collaboration and campaign star that Crocs has revealed, to much fanfare. In April, the shoe brand unveiled a much-anticipated third installment of the iconic Crocs x Simone Rocha collaboration: featuring designs whose adornments (all pearls and sparkling gems and delicate beading) were so chic, the footwear sold out in mere moments. Another Crocs collection with famed shoe designer Salehe Bembury, composed of the TikTok-viral, now-sold-out Pollex Clog and other wave-making offerings, was so groundbreaking that it won the Collection of the Year Award at Footwear News’ Achievement Awards in 2023. Crocs truly has a knack for reimagining its hero products, as most other collabs (like those with Levi’s, not to mention star-powered drops involving SZA, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, and beyond) have done just as well and have depleted in inventory just as speedily.
Not a fan of olive green? The Classic Crafted Clog is also offered in go-with-everything Black Sand, mellow, quiet-luxury Stucco, and soft-spoken Pink Caramel. Whether you’re an athletic type through and through or can’t part with your feminine, coquettish aesthetic, know that you’ll be reaching for this priceless shoe rack addition for many occasions. Ruffled socks, denim cutoffs, and a crisp white button-up? Say less. Body-hugging leggings, gray hoodie, and your go-to leather jacket worn overtop once the leaves turn? The Classic Crafted Clog is here to help you experiment with the wrong-shoe theory… while being every bit the right shoe.
Take it from Tung and grab it alongside multiple never-before-seen charms that will function more like personality statements. It’s as easy of a choice as ending up with Conrad Fisher (sorry not sorry).
