The musician Jelly Roll and the shoe brand HeyDude? They go way back. In 2024, the two teamed up on a surprising collaboration that generated so much buzz, the Wally slip-on in question sold out in… wait for it… less than a minute. Following the success of this drop, Jelly Roll once again joined forces with HeyDude in March, treating fans to a limited-edition “tattoo”-detailed shoe whose inventory witnessed a similar fate. One month later, we were all blessed with the collab’s “Second Chance” release, which granted one last shot at snagging the ultra-popular style.
Now, Jelly Roll, who has called himself the product of second chances, is back for more. Just a day ago, the ribbon was cut on the HeyDude x Jelly Roll Bradley Suede bootie — a reinterpretation of the highly acclaimed HeyDude Bradley silhouette — which we were sure would fly off online shelves faster than one could say “hey, dude!” Alas, it’s still in stock, making this the ideal opportunity to round out your fall boot collection before it’s too late.
HeyDude x Jelly Roll Bradley Suede Boot in “Black/Black Oyster”
Price upon publish date of this article: $99.99
What makes the HeyDude x Jelly Roll Bradley Suede boot special? Offered in either the “Black/Black Oyster” or “Tan/Brown” colorways (note that the latter only has larger sizes in stock at this point, being a clear crowd favorite), the shoe boasts a smooth suede upper adorned by skull debossing and what HeyDude calls its new “chain-breaking” logo — a testament to Jelly Roll’s genre-bending, norm-shattering appeal. With its elastic laces, water-repellent properties, lightweight yet sturdy outsole, slip-on-and-go ease of use, and all-day comfort, this footwear pick is something you’ll likely not want to take off all throughout the winter months and beyond.
Make no mistake, though: HeyDude’s newest and most-talked-about offering is unisex. Though sizing on the site is shown for men, the brand recommends going down two sizes when ordering the boot for women (in other words, a men’s 6 would be a women’s 8).
Stumped on how to style these durable steppers for the season? Take a page from their creator, Jelly Roll himself, and go with heavy-duty black pants, a leather moto jacket, and a simple black tee. Alternatively, use their “Tan/Brown” version to dress down khakis and infuse a dose of ruggedness into your otherwise preppy look.
“I walk into rooms or on stages every day where the ability to believe in or be a part of second chances is life changing. Let me say that again. Life. Changing,” Jelly Roll told Footwear News for an earlier story.
Don’t miss out on this second (or third!) chance at being part of the viral HeyDude x Jelly Roll universe, by shopping the Jelly Roll Bradley Suede boot today.
