Dyson is at it again — the leader in luxury hair styling tools just debuted a breakthrough launch, the Dyson Airwrap Complete for curly hair. This new Dyson hair dryer for curly hair makes the Airwrap a true do-it-all hair tool, as it features brand new attachments carefully designed with type 2A to 4C hair in mind.
Until today, the Dyson Airwrap was better equipped for straight and wavy hair types, with six attachments that primarily function to smooth, tame, and add soft waves to hair. The newest Dyson Airwrap Complete Long Diffuse is outfitted with six curly hair-friendly attachments, including the existing wide-tooth comb attachment that stretches coils, a flyaway tamer, Airwrap curling barrel, paddle brush head, and two new shiny new attachments: An Airwrap-compatible diffuser and large round volumizing brush head.
Like all things Dyson, these new attachments are cutting edge and thoughtfully designed. The Airwrap hair diffuser features prongs positioned in alternating directions and a mesh nozzle for controlled, soft airflow while styling natural curls and coils (it’s best for creating an air-dried curly hair look). This diffuser is ultra-versatile, too, with long prongs and a medium-deep bowl that can corral lengthy curls for quick drying and help lift and define hair near the root. Next up, the large round volumizing brush. This XL-sized version of Dyson’s round brush attachment stands out for its ability to quickly dry and smooth long, curly hair (it’ll turn your Dyson Airwrap Complete into one of the best hair dryer brushes on the block). While the diffuser will come in handy for curly and coily hair types, the new large round brush works across all hair types, from pin straight to type 4C hair.

Curly girls and guys who already own an Airwrap don’t have to invest in this Dyson curly hair dryer to reap its ringlet-defining benefits — each of the new attachments are available for purchase separately at Dyson.com for $39 each, allowing you to retrofit your existing Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler for your hair type. Dyson Airwrap’s extra attachments also make the Airwrap compatible with a total of 15 different attachments (more than any other multi-styler on the market!). So although the multi-styler comes with a bit of sticker shock, it’s a worthy long-term investment for good hair days galore, no matter your hair length or texture.
With this new curly hair dryer, Dyson is rounding out its offering of top hair dryers and flat irons, as the tool joins the Dyson Airstrait, Corrale straightener, Supersonic hair dryer, and Supersonic Origin hair dryer. The Airwrap is the crown jewel of the lineup, with non-damaging airflow and endless styling possibilities — shop the latest innovation below.
