Maison the Faux presented an irreverent collection that broke the boundaries between genders and brought an underground clubbing look into daylight. The creative team, headed by designers Joris Suk and Tessa de Boer, didn’t consider any commercial logic and delivered a range of relatively crazy pieces worn indistinctly by male and female models.
There was a fetish mood running through the lineup, which included a patent-leather zipper bustier top matched with coordinating flared pants, as well as a destroyed, bleached denim corset. Among the most flamboyant looks: a voluminous jacket crafted by assembling a cascade of silver fringes for a furlike effect.
