Kimora Lee Simmons said she paid tribute to her Midwestern origins with her spring collection. “A Midwestern girl always loves a ribbon dress,” she explained, pointing to a cute, striped frock with a bow, which epitomized the lineup’s a tad ladylike spirit.
Short-sleeved shirts were worked in textured, lightweight cotton and paired with skirts, such as an eyelet style with one side embellished with a ruffled detail. Other standouts included a chic asymmetric kimono dress cinched at the waist with a hobo belt and a graphic patchwork flared frock. A deconstructed blazer introduced a more masculine feel into this feminine collection.
