What followed was the collection that Gn worked on until a few days ago. It was, in soccer parlance, a game of two halves: one part clean-cut geometric lines, the other delicate vintage patterns.
Gn used graphic elements, such as contrasting topstitching on the winged shoulder panels of a denim-blue linen dress, and nautical-inspired trimmings on a black skater dress. He sprinkled in some primitive motifs, most effectively on a punchy coral short-sleeve shift with beige appliqués.

From there, he segued into a sequence of gowns featuring a print of butterflies, plants and flowers inspired by a Chinese imperial porcelain bowl from his extensive antiques collection.
