Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl’s spring collection for Kaviar Gauche was a celebration of soft femininity. Transparencies were carefully layered — suggestive, but never indecent. Cue a mesh skirt worn over an elongated shirt with floral embroideries.
Soft pleats imparted a breezy ease, particularly gleeful on a high-neck dress with a Twenties allure. In addition to floral ornaments, the duo worked with basket-weave patterns and lace, veering at times into folkloric territory.
Limited to a pristine mix of cream, blues and black, the uncomplicated lineup was just what a girl needs on a long summer day. Sometimes less is more.
