Araks Yeramyan knows how to cleverly manipulate her fabrics into unfettered shapes for a strong impact. Russian Constructivism informed the graphic patterns for spring, including stripes worked into circles and herringbone from folds. By stretching some of her printed fabrics, tiny circles become larger toward the hemlines. The colors pulled it all together, in mixes of pink, pale blue, navy and a surprising splash of gold on the back of one dress. The intricate approach worked to stunning results: clothes that were lovely and ultimately wearable.
