Inspired by Joséphine de Beauharnais (as in Napoleon’s Joséphine) and her love of luxurious textiles, Alexandra Vidal presented a tight lineup of intricate evening gowns and cocktail dresses. Key pieces included a hand-embroidered petal frock resembling a flower that has come to life.
Vidal worked her techniques on a range of a delicately hand-beaded numbers, while a cross-stitched gown had a bohemian flare. Each dress was elegant and crafted, but the real showstopper was a peplum honeycomb-pleated gown.
