The Ports 1961 collection embodied the duplicity of the muse who inspired it: Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and the wilderness — and of childbirth and virginity.
Playing with contrasting materials and constructions, Fiona Cibani juxtaposed a number of looks: There were slightly severe leather biker jackets and deconstructed asymmetric skirts, minidresses with armorlike details and uberfeminine organza pleated skirts, and a crisp voile cotton blouse decorated with a flowing neck scarf. As an homage to the brand’s heritage, Cibani also presented a range of chic dress coats with deep V-necks and strong shoulders.
