Rosetta Getty reaffirmed her commitment to a sophisticated yet discreet vision with a resort collection centered on elongated silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. Yet in the spirit of moving forward, the designer introduced denim for the first time — trouser pants in both a cropped and wide cut and simple T-shirt dresses in a polished, dark-hued Japanese fabric. “Being from California, denim is a big part of the lifestyle,” she said. “We wanted to get it right and worked really hard for a long time. I’m very excited about the product.”
Getty also showed some great white macramé dresses — inspired by a recent trip to Sayulita, Mexico — while continuing to offer her signature flowy silk pieces, this time in navy or red and paired with mink tops “for contrast,” she explained.
