Elie Saab infused his resort collection with Seventies Hollywood glamour, most literally with floral palm prints and embroideries in the shape of abstract palm leaves on blouses, dresses and gowns. Embellished eveningwear is expected from Saab and he had his bases covered with beaded gowns and jumpsuits. More refreshing was the feminine free-spirit of broderie anglais maxidresses and silk caftan capes that channeled chic bohemia.
