“It started with this really simple idea of horizons,” said Dion Lee, flipping through look book images shot against the water in his native Australia. His resort lineup conveyed a feeling of lightness in a palette of blush, orange and powder blue with pops of black and white, some looks featuring soft, gradient prints on sheer chiffon.
Silk dresses and skirts featuring “sliced” hemlines — a look carried over from his fall show — gave Lee’s offerings a delicate sense of movement, while horizontal perforations made for flirty effect on a blue suede dress.
