Andrea Lieberman imagined a modern, urban nomad for resort. “One day, you’ll be in New York and the next in Los Angeles, and how do you dress for that?” she said. Fusing an early Nineties vibe and a Seventies rock-‘n’-roll edge — and citing Anita Pallenberg as one of her muses — Lieberman gave her girl plenty of layering pieces for chilly and warm weather alike. She mixed easy silk halter and scoop-neck dresses in a moody palette of red, burnt orange and black with richer textures, like ribbed off-the-shoulder knits and paisley-printed brocade trousers. An oversize, cream-colored shearling coat was one of the collection’s highlights.
