Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi infused their pre-fall collection with a sophisticated, urban sensibility. Coats and pea coats in wool felt came in clean silhouettes done in graphic patterns in contrast colors inspired by Sonia Delaunay’s paintings. The graphic treatments continued on cozy needle punch cashmere knits and an oversize blue-and-white sweater that hinted at subtle maritime theme. The designers’ indulged their taste for rich decorations on a nice coat and a slit-front skirt fully embroidered in sequins of different sizes and tones.
