Inspired by an imaginary journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway, Akris creative director Albert Kriemler turned out a rich, oh-so-cozy collection for pre-fall. There were oversize cashmere knit sweaters, blanket-striped skirts, luxe fur coats, pleated dresses with leather trim and a chic plaid cape-and-trouser suit. Photo-prints have become a signature for Akris, thus this season Kriemler featured the many different landscapes one might see while looking out the train’s window, not to mention one of the train itself.
