Dressing From the Ground Up. That’s what footwear guru Marc Hare called his debut ready-to-wear collection. Having launched his line in 2008, Hare became increasingly frustrated that his vibrant shoes were being styled with traditional suits, and he felt unable to tell the whole story.
Inspired by the ceremonial dress of African tribes, and free from the confines of Western tailoring, shirts came as collarless V-necks or with asymmetric closures in shades such as tomato. There were also cropped polka-dot trousers, bicolor varsity jackets, and T-shirts layered over technical running gear with Masai prints.

As for the shoes, standouts included red and black suede leather buckled ankle boots and Masai-weave slides in the same colors.
