Known for its technical outerwear, Engineered for Motion continues to push the envelope in R&D to achieve high-end performance. The collection, which was inspired by the “ever-changing city,” is about “advanced elegance — balancing elements of structure,” said designer Donrad Duncan.
Now in its fifth season, the garments included active-inspired combinations of lightweight wools and nylon that are reminiscent of cycling clothes, but in styles suitable to be worn everyday.
Highlights included a water-resistant shell jacket paired with a puffer and turtleneck, and a translucent raincoat for women. The overall effect felt less constricting yet was still masculine for the easy riders.
