There was a bit of London in the Nineties and touches of grunge and athletic references in Massimo Giorgetti’s strong MSGM collection for fall.
Giorgetti moved MSGM up a notch with tailored coats worn with fluid pants and tartan shirts layered under soft distressed mohair sweaters. He also introduced leather, including a pale pink trenchcoat, as well as vinyl, which he used for trousers with an underground feel. In keeping with the sportswear-rooted aesthetic of the brand, polyester was used for track pants and a bomber worked in a retro floral pattern. The overall look felt fresh and cool.
