Millennial entrepreneurs should go for Consuelo Castiglioni’s relaxed tailoring for fall. The designer deftly walked the line between office space and corner café, serving up a plethora of options for those young creatives with an agenda as diverse as the weather system pummeling Europe this season.
Castiglioni played with proportions, juxtaposing baggy versus slim and fun versus fancy. There were narrow bottoms matched with loosely cut wrap coats and shrunken blazers worn over clownish, billowing pants. The designer’s penchant for quirky came through via a series of less successful — and disorienting — shirt hybrids, draped in front and buttoned-up in the back.

Castiglioni kept it all together via a palette of down-to-earth hues including a range of warm browns and cordial blues. Her only touch of extravagance was a run of full-body fur coats rendered in astrakhan or nutria, clearly aimed at those lucky enough to have cashed in on their startups.
