Happy Halloween! The Daks collection for fall was filled with tricky clothing — and the odd treat — with pieces that will surely appeal to vampire types and a color palette that took in black, orange, copper and rust.
Items included a sweeping cape with an Astrakhan collar, a black velvet poncho edged in long floaty feathers and tuxedo pants with a line of black fluff running down the side of each leg. Scarves were large and dramatic with long, black swinging fringes.
Black topcoats and shirts daubed with copper paint looked as if they’d witnessed many a mischief night, while one sweater featured streaks of what looked like spray paint. Coats and suits were done a big, blurred black and orange check, certainly not for the faint of heart.
