Antonio Marras continues to take inspiration from his native Sardinia, this season looking to the small village of San Salvatore di Sinis where in the Seventies many Spaghetti Westerns were filmed.
Marras reworked the cowboy theme to deliver a charming collection. Patchwork tartan shirts were embellished with arty floral decorations and leopard inserts, while suits came in checkered fabrics with a slightly rustic feel. Keeping with the theme, he introduced denim overalls and fringed leather jackets. Everything reflected the designer’s artisanal approach which especially infused the outerwear, including coats and peacoats in classic fabrics embellished with fur details.
